ALONG with every man in the world and their dog, the JLS lads think 26-year-old Cheryl Cole is the hottest woman on the planet.

They exclusively told Goss: “She is soooo hot, seriously amazing.”

Marvin Humes, 24, said: “She could put a bin bag on and still look incredible, she could wear whatever and pull it off.

“Ashley’s an amazing guy, but he’s done very well. He must love the fact everyone fancies his girl.”

English singer Cheryl Cole has revealed she listens to her own records at home.

The singer whose debut solo single “Fight For This Love” reached number one in Britain charts last week, insists she can’t expect her fans to buy her music if she won’t play it herself, reports contactmusic.com.

“I wanted my album, ‘3 Words‘, to be something that was true to me and to what I would listen to at home. As weird as it sounds, I do listen to my own albums. But if I don’t listen to them, I can’t expect anyone else to,” she said.

Gorgeous Cheryl Cole caused a fashion storm when she strutted onto The X Factor wearing raunchy thigh-high boots.

The petite superstar looked boot-iful as she waltzed around the studios in the skirt-skimming high-heeled numbers.

The couture-crazy judge splashed out a mega £500 on the super sexy heels, made by Italian designer Pollini.

A spokesman for Cheryl said: “She picks her own wardrobe for the show and thought the boots were brilliant.

“She works with a stylist but has a lot of input. She’s very inventive with her fashion.”

Stylish Cheryl twinned the show-stopping accessories with a £1,500 dress by little-known Georgia-born designer David Koma.

And within hours of Saturday’s show, the daring combo had caused an internet furore.

Some branded the ensemble a Halloween fright while others said the face of L’Oreal had won fashion gold.

Pip Waller, of North Yorks, blogged: “Saturday night’s ensemble must have been worn for a dare surely? She looked utterly ridiculous.”

But other fans wanted to know where the Girl Aloud got her footwear.

Cheryl covered up with spangly jeans last night – but fellow judge Dannii Minogue, 38, turned heads in a cute beret and sparkly dress.

Bon Jovi showed the contestants how it’s done as they performed on last night’s show.

But it looks like 26-year-old Cheryl is the biggest star – as last night she topped the charts with both her single Fight For This Love and her album 3 Words.

She is only the 12th female artist ever to scoop the two top spots simultaneously.

Ratings prove she’s a winner

X Factor judge Cheryl Cole is to get her own show.

The Girls Aloud star has so impressed TV bosses with her ratings-busting performance on ITV’s flagship series that she’s been signed up for an hour-long programme, provisionally titled Inside Cheryl’s World.

The show is likely to feature Cheryl performing and possibly chatting to the audience and guests and will be screened on ITV1 on December 12 in the slot before the X Factor’s live Saturday night show. It will be the first time the 26-year-old has hosted her own programme, which insiders say will be a test run with a view to giving Cheryl her own series next year.

An ITV source said: “Cheryl is the name on everyone’s lips and TV bosses have been clamouring to sign her up for months. X Factor ratings have gone through the roof since she joined and prove viewers love her. The plan is to get her into the studio for her own show to see how she handles it, then find the right format to turn Cheryl into queen of the small screen.”

Earlier this year she turned down an offer to front the US version of X Factor. The Geordie star was being lined up as head judge on the American spin-off series being made by Simon Cowell’s new production company. But the wife of Chelsea and England footballer Ashley Cole rejected the offer because it would have meant relocating to America for up to six months at a time.

The X Factor has enjoyed a huge ratings boost since Cheryl joined the panel last summer.

Last month ratings topped 14m – matching the grand final in 2008.

It is true that her singing voice doesn’t compare with those of Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey; she is no Janet Jackson in the dancing department; she frequently wears dodgy frocks; she has, perhaps, forgiven her love-rat husband too many times; and this latest business with Guildford Borough Council over the underground swimming pool that she is determined to build is undoubtedly tiresome.

But none of that matters, because the point about Cheryl Cole is that she is greater than the sum of her parts. Her appeal is not in the strength of her individual talents; it’s in the package she has created so masterfully over the past few years.

Right now, the soignée X Factor judge is unstoppable. On Sunday, her debut solo single, Fight for This Love, reached No 1 in the charts, and became the fastest-selling single of 2009. Meanwhile, her album, 3 Words, released the following day, looks set to reach the top spot this weekend. Why? Because people just love her.

The sassy 26-year-old has the British public eating out of her perfectly manicured hands but remains pleasingly overwhelmed by her latest catalogue of triumphs. “I don’t really know what to do with myself at the moment,” she tells me in a thick, surprisingly deadpan Geordie accent. “The single going to No 1 was amazing. If the album goes to No 1, too, then it is definitely party time. (more…)
