Cheryl Cole is to release a survival single to celebrate beating the deadly condition malaria.
Geordie beauty Cheryl Cole is to show she’s still a fighter by releasing a survival comeback tune.
The pop star’s latest is said to be named Promise This because of its lyrics, which relate to her malaria scare. According to reports, the stunner will perform the new single on X Factor in October and will be filming the video in LA any day now.
A source has said: “Cheryl’s comeback single is called Promise This.
“It was actually written months ago and although it’s not directly talking about her illness there is a strange lyrical twist that ironically relates to her recent near-death experience.”

Despite Cheryl Cole’s impending divorce, she has decided against reverting to her maiden name of Tweedy and will release her second solo album under her married name.
The Fight For This Love singer rose to fame in Girls Aloud as Cheryl Tweedy, but since marrying footballer Ashley Cole and taking his name, Cheryl’s profile was boosted further when she joined the judging panel of X Factor and launched her solo career.
A source close to Cheryl said her decision not to revert to her maiden name was inspired by soul legend Tina Turner, who kept her married name when she split from Ike Turner: “She is a fan of Tina Turner. Tina was divorced during her career but decided to stick with her married name because it was how she was best known.
“Cheryl has decided her married name will stay. She feels the most successful period of her career has been under the name Cole,” the source explained. “She’s established in Europe. Going back to her maiden name Tweedy would be confusing.
“It also shows she is bigger than Ashley and prepared to be grown up about a difficult time in her life.”
Cheryl flew to Los Angeles over a week ago to work on new solo material and is on track to complete her album in time to launch the first single on this year’s X Factor.

Cheryl Cole has fuelled rumours that she is dating dancer Derek Hough by reportedly meeting his family in LA.
The Girls Aloud singer, who is currently in Los Angeles soaking up the sun with Hough after recovering from malaria is said to have ‘popped in’ to meet Derek’s loved ones.
An insider told New! magazine: “Derek has introduced Cheryl to the family. They’re very loved-up and Cheryl has become an extremely important part of Derek’s life.”
They added: “She’s a lovely girl and has clearly been through a lot recently, so it was great to finally meet the girl who’s been taking up so much of his time!”
The suspected couple, who first met when the Dancing With The Stars performer starred alongside Chezza in her promo for Parachute have also been spotted on a number of dates in LA.
Reports suggest that Derek has been keeping a close eye on the X Factor judge, making sure she is eating properly and getting lots of rest as she battles to return to full health after contracting the deadly disease on holidays with him in Tanzania.

The simmering feud between Cheryl Cole and Girls Aloud bandmate Nadine Coyle has cranked up after a bitter snub in LA last week.
Now can exclusively reveal that after years of trying to repair a damaged relationship with Nadine, Cheryl rejected her recent pleas to go for a drink in Hollywood and fears Nadine’s using her to further her own career.
‘Cheryl hasn’t considered Nadine a friend for ages,’ says an insider.
‘She knows Nadine’s made little digs about her publicly and admitted she was jealous of Cheryl’s relationship with Simon Cowell, implying it was the only reason for her solo success.
‘So Cheryl was shocked she called to ask her out for drinks last week.
‘Three days after Cheryl, 27, arrived in LA, she received a text from Nadine, 25, asking if she wanted to meet up.
‘She didn’t respond, so Nadine started calling.
‘Cheryl didn’t answer but got her voicemail and eventually texted her saying she won’t be meeting up with her because she’s resting and it’s “not that type of holiday. Take care”.’
Nadine got the message and now the gloves are off.

According to new reports, Girls Aloud are reuniting without Nadine Coyle. The group is reportedly grown apart with Nadine and is ready to reunite in 2011 without her with new material. Before that, Nadine is expected to release her first solo album and Cheryl Cole her second.
“It’s been a painful decision for Sarah, Nicola, Kimberley and Cheryl but they have decided that the future of Girls Aloud lies without Nadine,” a source told the publication. “They’ve all been on a roller-coaster ride since 2002 and have just grown apart from Nadine. Relations with her had been strained within the camp for a while. Disputes began cropping up towards the final days of the band before they went on a hiatus.”
Their label have hinted that there is no truth behind these news. The reports over the troubles within the group have been going on throughout this year.

The Sun recently revealed her mum JOAN CALLAGHAN had been trying the same tactic with Newcastle faves stottie cakes and pease pudding.
So the new menu must be having the right effect.
A source said: “Derek’s been brilliant during her recovery. He’s really been hands on, treating her to his home cooking.
“His signature dish is ‘mac ‘n’ cheese’, which has been the favourite in Cheryl’s home. Even mum Joan’s a fan.”

X Factor judge Cheryl Cole has been spotted out in public for the first time since her malaria battle.
The 27-year-old singer was seen walking near her home in Surrey with a minder as she walked to Starbucks to pick up a coffee.
Cole has not been seen since she was taken ill with malaria following a trip to Tanzania with her dancer pal Derek Hough.
She was dressed down in a baggy white T-shirt and jeans for the outing as she smiled at photographers and chatted to fans.
Cole was diagnosed with the illness earlier this month after first being diagnosed with exhaustion.
She has been holed up at her Surrey mansion since recently being released from hospital.

Cheryle Cole who is still feeling unwell due to a malaria attack has told her estranged husband Ashley Cole to go away. Her cheating husband wanted to see Cheryl, however, she didn’t want to see him.
A spokesperson said that Cheryl just wants to recover from her illness and the trauma that Ashley has put her through. Obviously she
isn’t a cold type of person and was married to Ashley for a long time. Close friends have said that her heart wants to say yes , but her head says no.
Cheryl has been unwell for some time and it has been reported that she has lost over half a stone in weight.
She started divorce proceedings against her cheating husband in May. A source has already commented that there is no way that Ashley would be invited back to see Cheryl, especially to the marital home . The only reason that he would be allowed to the enter the home would be on the understanding that he packs up his belongings and leaves straight away. Cheryl is so frail that it has been reported that she will also have to fall out of the role as judge in the US version of X factor as well as the UK version. Her replacement for both shows has been filled by the raunchy pussy-cat doll Nicole Scherzinger

Cheryl Cole today came out of intensive care and has left UCLH. She has now been transferred to a private clinic where she will remain for her recovery.
